Have tried to post a question about a 13 star flag around 4 times with no luck. It keeps saying that once a mod approves my post it will be posted. 2 weeks later and no post.

Found a 13 star flag in a box with some documents from the civil war. If you get a chance check out the pictures and let me know what you think.

th 13 star flag is in the flag album and runs from about picture 5- 9

Thanks for posting this for me.

With the flag being in a box with Civil War papers I am thinking that it is from that era. One of the papers was a letter stating that a relative paid $200 for someone to fight in his place.

Any ideas on this flag would be great.
