Hello,

We have a 38 star flag (Colorado) with hand-sewn stars and machine-sewn stripes. The stars are in 8-7-8-7-8 pattern, allcut from the same pattern, and all face with top point UP. The flag is 67" w x 43" h, which seems smaller than others from this period.

Does anybody have any additional information for me?

does the flag have any identification? like name of person or company it was sewn by?

Hello,

Here are a few pictures of the 38-star flag. Since it is framed, No identifying text is visible, however since it is framed and only one side visible, writing may be hidden behind the frame / on the other side.

Would it be worth my while to remove the frame back to check?
