4 flags on same pole?

Just curious, is there a traditional limit to how many flags should be on the same pole?

To my knowledge, there is no limit, but it seems inappropriate that the 13 star Betsy Ross, a former official national flag, is at the bottom. That does not seem right to me.

It's actually not a Betsy Ross, it's a flag of the Society of the Cincinnati:

I dont think there is a limit, as long as the flag at the bottom isn't too near the ground, or where people could reach it

Saying that... a pole with 4 flags on like that pic, doesn;t look good in my opinion... I dont even like seeing 2 on the same pole lol

Yes, multiple flags on the same pole can look bad, particularly if done wrong.

There is a flagpole at one of the Indiana rest areas (service plaza for those from the UK) that routinely flys both an American flag and a POW/MIA flag at the same height from the same pole(different halyards). As if that wasn't bad enough, they stick a State of Indiana flag under that mess, also on the same pole.

Next time I am at that rest stop, I'll need to get a photo, it's bugged me for a few years now. Watch, next month when I am past there, they will have fixed it...
