I paid less than $20 for a 44-star flag. BUT that was 35 years ago!!
Your 44 is in superb condition. One question - are the stars sewn on my a zig zag machine stitch or a straight machine stitch, or by hand?
    Thanks,
    Nick

    WOW !!!

Even though I don't know very much about older "historical" American Flags, after seeing the pictures of THIS one, all I can say is.....

    WOW !!!

    The WHOLE Flag :

    The UNION :

    The HEADER (D.O. Sawyer) :

    Hey, DMoney !!!

Could you post some "close up" photos of a few of the stars in the star field in the Union and of the stripes at the "Fly End" of the Flag so we can see the details of the Flag's construction ???

    THANK YOU !!!

And Thank You for posting the first three pictures here, TOO !!!

    Hey, DMoney !

    Thanx for the update!

Yes, having a few close-ups of the details will really help !

I understand that NAVA1974 is somewhat of an expert on Flag materials and construction. So, when he sees the pictures he'll either let you know "what's up" or ask you for more information or picstures.

    Thanx again !
