I just recently found an old suit case in my parents attic ,containing an old flag ,this Flag has 48 stars and only 5 strips ,along with the Flag was post card books from Paris an old helmet and other things from world war 1 . If any one would have any information about this I would appreciate it .thank you

We'd love to be able to help you, at least with identifying your Family's Flag. But so far, you haven't given us very much to go on, if you know what I mean.

Could you provide us with a little more information such as :

#1. How big is the Flag?
#2. What material is the Flag made of?
#3. What kind of Stars are on the Flag and how are they attached?
#4. What are all of the "identifying marks" and where are they located?
#5. Do you know anything about the Flag's "history"?
#6. Can you provide any photographs of the Flag?

The MORE information you can provide about your Flag the more likely it will be that one or more of us will be able to help you out (and faster too!).
