The Boy Scouts of America (BSA) and the Girl Scouts of the USA (GSUSA) are also proud to offer proper and respectful "retirement" (a more respectful term than disposal) of the American flag to individuals and groups. See: United States Flag Code - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia.
The BSA has conducted these ceremonies since its inception in 1910.
