| Hello kherbert63: Yes, the flag can indeed be flown with other flags. There are, however, some rules to follow. From ushistory.org: The order of precedence for flags generally is National flags (US first, then others in alphabetical order in English), State (host state first, then others in the order of admission) and territories (Washington DC, Puerto Rico, etc.), Military (in order of establishment: Army, Marine Corps, Navy, Air Force, Coast Guard), then other. Since the laws relating to the US Flag come from United States Code, the above answer applies to all 50 states. The Code also addresses in which order the flags need to be flown. In Title 4, Chapter 1, Section 7, the Code states that "the flag of the United States of America should be at the center and at the highest point of the group when a number of flags of States or localities or pennants of societies are grouped and displayed from staffs." I hope this answers your question! ~Melissa
