I got this shot of AZ flag last night. I put up Canada this evening so I don't have to do it in the morning before going to work. The last pic is me playing around on Photoshop.

I was going to be flying my new 3x5 sewn nylon Canadian National Flag out in front of my house today so I guess I'll have to wait for Canada Day (July 1st).
Here's what my Canadian Flag looks like spread out on my living room floor :

We're just now having a relatively "calm & dry" period, so I went ahead and posted the U.S. and Canada Flags out front AND took a few "quick pics"!
Here's a couple of them :

As long as it's relatively "nice" I'll fly the Flags, which is what i usually do. BUT, if the wind & rain start "kicking up", both flags are coming inside with me!

That's a nice Canada flag Robin. It's darker red. My $5.59 Ebay special is almost orange. I assume yours is the proper color??? I wanted a Canadian flag 'cause my dream is to ride my motorcycle from Houston-Alaska, and go through much of Canada, of course. And I like Arizona because it's a Route 66 state and it's home to the Phoenix Suns NBA team. I'd like to have 8 poles in the yard, about 8' tall. So I could fly all the Route 66 states' flags CA, AZ, NM, TX, OK, KS, MO, and IL.

Hi, Wild-Bill !![]()
I don't know if my 3'x5' Canadian Flag has the proper "official" shade of red or not. If it doesn't, I'd guess that it's pretty darn close!
To my knowledge, almost every Country's National Flag consists of "official" colors. There are at least three, and maybe more, color chart "systems" that people use to denote EXACTLY what colors are used for each country's flag.
I assume that each of our 50 States and the various Territories have "official" colors for their flags too.
There are probably several web sites that list the "official" colors for each country's flag. "Flags Of The World" (FOTW) and the individual country's flags (ie. "Flag of Canada") on Wikipedia.org come to mind.
I recently acquired two Canadian Flags. One is the 3'x5' sewn & embroidered one I flew yesterday (as seen in the picture) and the other is a 4'x6' printed nylon version. I bought both (along with 8 other flags) from the same vendor on eBay.
So..... You're thinking of flying the flags of the eight States that Route 66 passed through, eh? Is your front yard going to be BIG enough ???![]()

Yes the yard is big enough. But the pecan tree just about blankets the yard. You could put short poles(about 8') under the branches, but the birds would bomb the flags. And I wouldn't like that at all! Same situation in the back. The other Pecan tree shades almost the whole yard. Good for shade while mowing, but not good for my flag/flagpole hobby.
