Ball cap & flag pin

My ball caps have the ships name in big letters with a picture of the ship. Where should the American flag pin be placed? Looking the cap I have the pin below the ships name .

I don't think that it really matters, as long as it looks good. The big thing to avoid is when the pin comes loose and the flag turns upside down!

Some years ago I had a Navy ballcap made for the battleship USS Montana (BB-67), which was designed during World War II but never built. It's fun to get questions about "Did you serve on that ship?" I also have one for the dirigible USS Los Angeles (ZR-3).
