The best method of any US flag burning - burning with american president inside. Recommended to sluice it by the petroleum, because both of them like it so much and ready to kill not guilty men and send own soldiers to death for it.

In reply to the original poster, the American Legion usually dips each flag in kerosene before placing on the fire to ensure complete burning. They have a
fire going and place one flag at a time on the fire.

Check with American Flag Recycling American Flags and information about replacing U.S. flags and flapoles they are trying to find a method of flag recycling for nylon flags.

Hi,

I am a worker at a hospital and we fly the American Flag at our hospital. I am trying to find a organization or person that will properly dispose of our damaged American Flags.

We are located in Oakland Ca.

If any one has any suggestions I would appericate it.

Thanks in advance.

Try contacting your local American Legion Post. They have regular flag disposal ceremonies and would be happy to take it off your hands.

Your local Legion or VFW will burn them in the traditional ceremony, but if you are looking to recycling, go to American Flag Recycling American Flags and information about replacing U.S. flags and flapoles they are working on a recycling program. It is not fully functional yet, but will be soon - within the next month.
