| Recently, the Cintas Center at Xavier University released some photos of some off season changes they are making to the arena, The arena is configured as a horseshoe design with seats on three sides and a wall on the fourth side. Up until this season the American flag was displayed in a landscape orientation near the top center of the wall at one end of the arena. This year they are moving the flag to a more central part of the arena, suspended from one of the ceiling beams What I thought was clever is that they showed photos of the flag from both sides of the support beam, and in both cases the canton is correctly in the upper left corner. Makes me wonder if they took two flags and sewed them together, or if there is a flag maker who makes flags this way so they can be viewed properly when suspended from the center of the room. (I realize the easiest way for a flag maker to do this is a 2-ply flag) It also looks like the flag has a pole hem, but its alongside the top stripe and top of the canton, so the flag is still displayed in landscape orientation.
