I see on your web site that you have a number of song lyrics of patriotic songs....

I see on your web site that you have a number of song lyrics of patriotic songs. I am currently putting together a "coffee-table" booklet on patriotism and graphics. I would like to include the lyrics of these songs. Do you know who I would contact to gain permission to use these lyrics?

Any assistance will be appreciated.

I'm not a copyright expert, but I think most traditional patriotic songs are considered in the public domain, meaning that anyone can print them in whatever format they see fit. Please don't take this as permission to do so! Instead, you should look at an already published book of such songs and see what, if any, copyright information is listed with the individual songs. Then, if necessary, you can contact the copyright holders and obtain permission to reprint the lyrics.
