company anniversary flag

The hospital I work at has 2 flag poles in front with the American Flag on one and on the other has the state displayed. The question is which one is the apporiate flag to display a company flag under or is it correct to display the company flag at all since there is 2 flag poles with flags displayed on them already.

I'm not an "expert" in this area, but the little knowledge I do possess, plus a modicum of common sense, tells me that the hospital's "company" flag "should go under the State's Flag, OR.... By itself if the State Flag is on the same pole as the U.S. flag and flying under it. The U.S. Flag should be flying from the flagpole on the LEFT as the viewer sees it from the street (outside of the hospital).

The two different scenarios would be as follows:

#1 LEFT flagpole - U.S. Flag on top, State Flag below, and RIGHT flagpole - Company Flag.

#2 LEFT flagpole - U.S. Flag, and RIGHT flagpole - State Flag on top, Company Flag below.
