Default Crossed flag pins

I hope you can answer my question....

Actually, I think that's backwards, Carol. I'm using the flag code as a reference here:

This is of course talking about real flags, not a pin, but I think the same rule would apply. To the flag's own right means that the flag is on the left to the viewer. I know that's confusing, but think about looking at a person. When they go to their right, a person observing sees that as moving to the left. Likewise, the flag's right is left to a person observing it.

In a search online I found pins made both ways, but most of the ones made in the United States got it right.
