Hi ! My name is Scott LaForest and I have a very interesting history to the flag! My mothers name Margeret Laforest and maiden name Margeret Ross daughter to my grandmother and grandfather Ross. Yes that is correct Ross ! I am a direct descendant to the famous Betsy Ross through my family tree which I have a copy of done my grandfather Ross who had it cetified by the U.S. Government. Just wanted you to know that the flag history is still alive!

I am a direct descendant to the famous Betsy Ross through my family tree which I have a copy of done my grandfather Ross who had it cetified by the U.S. Government.

This is impossible, of course, because John and Elizabeth "Betsy" Ross did not have any children. Betsy has many living descendants through her later marriages, but none of them would have the Ross surname.
