    Yes, you do the same procedure for Memorial Day as you do for Armistice Day. The flag is placed at half-staff at dawn and is raised up at noon.

    Armistice Day was the day of the signing of the Armistice that ended World War I. Later it was known as Veteren's Day. By the way, Memorial Day was once known as Decoration Day.
