| Chris, The American flag should always be flown above other flags on the same pole, so hosit the U.S. flag first and then your union flag. When flying a flag from the fire engine or ladder truck, the main rule is that the flag staff be firmly secured to the vehicle by clamping it to the chassis or right fender. You'll want to keep it to the right side (the passenger's side) of the vehicle. Don't drape the flag over the hood, top, sides or back of the vehicle. I hope this helps! Sarah
