    I am wondering if there are guidlines or rules for when displaying a folded flag in a frame? Some frames allow for a flag to be displayed with a certificate and/or military medals. Is there a set etiquette for how the flag is to be placed, or the direction of the point?

    The United States Flag Code is silent on the question of displaying folded / framed flags. Prohibitions on placing pictures or text ON the flag itself do not apply when framing a flag and placing a photograph or a medal IN FRONT OF the flag. Good taste should be your guide.
