    Gee! Where do I begin?

Sooner or later, somebody is going to mention the "Flag Code", wondering what IT has to say about attaching NON-Flag things to the Flag.....

As I was writing my earlier reply, I was thinking about a transparent piece of nylon (preferable Kevlar) netting that could be attached to the entire fly-end of a Flag. 25% would be attached directly to the Flag to "stabilize" the fly-end and make it more of a "single unit". The other 75% would extend out past the fly-end to act as a "dampener" to lessen the effects of the Flag's whipsawing (flapping) in the wind.

But, then again..... Sooner or later, somebody is going to mention the "Flag Code", wondering what IT has to say about attaching NON-Flag things to the Flag.....

Quick! Somebody send American_Flag_UK (Amanda) a message or e-maill and ask (beg) for pictures !!!

I send a pic I grabbed from a UK flag maker showing what thi anti fray attachment looks like. It got caught in the filters.

While I was looking at their site I was intrigued by the rope and toggle method of flag attachment. I can't seem To Figure out how that works.

You could always try the method that usually works for me : I right-click on the on-line picture, select "Copy", open a "Reply" window here, right-click inside it and select "paste". It almost always works.

What it the "U.K. Flag-makers" web address?

    Robin

PS. Doesn't the "toggle & rope" method work something like a button & buttonhole?

I thought that's exactly what I did. I see what you are saying about the rope and toggle. I am only seeing the flag part of the attachment, perhaps if I saw the hardware on the pole it would be clearer.

The link is to JW Plant & Co - Flags, Flag Poles, Pennants and Corporate Display Systems from J Plant & Co - Buy Online Anti Fray Netting

    See if that works.
