May 3-4 at the Carnegie Free Library in Carnegie , Pennsylvania, near Pittsburgh, there will be a joint meeting of the Chesapeake Bay Flag Association and the Great Waters Association of Vexillology (the mid-Atlantic and Midwestern groups). On Saturday at 1:45 PM there will be two talks specifically aimed at people with little or no flag background, but the entire meeting is open to the public. This meeting would be a great introduction for anyone who's thinking about getting their feet wet in vexillology.
