Default Flag stickers displayed correctly?

and told me that since these flag stickers are the ones that look like the
flag is waving that the one on the passenger side should be facing backwards
In other words the stars should be in the upper right hand corner with stripes to the left and not as I have it now. Is this correct? As a US Army
veteran I sure don't want to display my country's flag the wrong way. Thanks in advance for clearing up the confusion.

Rick,

You might remember from your uniform that the flag patch on the right shoulder is "backwards," that is, flying with the blue union on the front part of the shoulder and the stripes waving behind.

It's meant to look like the soldiers are carrying a flag, rushing into battle. The flag then would be flying back as the soldiers rushed forward, thus the stars are in front.

The same logic could be applied to your rig, though most people I have seen with multiple flags on their vehicles have them all facing the "normal" way. That's probably because there aren't a lot of people who sell decals with the flag waving this way. But if you can find one, by all means fly it proudly.

Sarah
