Hi all!

My name is Ann and I just joined the forum, I’m also a new comer to flagpole installation. I’m still trying to understand it all and our little company (just me and my husband) is still navigating through all the different ways to approach the industry. It’s a tough economy! I was wondering – for those of you involved in the industry (especially veterans) business owner or not, what are some of services, tools, strategies, or latest resources you find helpful or profitable in doing your work or - business? Online or offline, I’m sure there is quite a lot in both right?!

I'm not sure if I understand your questions.

Are you and your husband starting a flagpole company or a flagpole installation company, or both? Do you have a flag retail store and you're "branching out"? Are you looking for advice only for starting up a "Flag-related" business, or starting up any kind of retail business??? Or just advice on customer-service related issues?

You probably have a pretty good idea as to what kind of information and advice you're looking for. Unfortunately, I can't figure out what you're looking for here.
