Talk about free stuff....

Talk about free stuff. People love to get things free. Maybe if each
house was sent a free flag to hang up, and wave, there would be more
homes that showed them. I can't understand why you don't see more houses
with flags flying!......Thank you.........GOD BLESS America!.......Susan

Truer words were never spoken! People absolutely LOVE free stuff. While it's true that there should be more people in our nation flying the American flag, it's also true that many people don't appreciate, understand or respect the flag and all it stands for--mostly the hundreds and thousands who have made the ultimate sacrifice for it and for us.

While it's highly unlikely you'll find a single agency or branch of government to give away free flags to every household, you might have luck organizing some sort of flag education/appreciation/distribution project in your neighborhood or city. I can think of many organizations who you might approach for assistance with this idea, including schools, neighborhood associations, youth organizations and community service groups.
