    Default Flags on Bulletin Boards

I work at an Assisted Living Facility. Memorial Day is coming up and I'd like to decorate a bulletin board to honor our servicemen and country. Is it improper to hang small flags on a bulletin board, or to cross the wooden staffs? Any ideas to tastefully represent our flag and servicemen in a way proper to flag etiquette?

Default Re: Flags on Bulletin Boards

In the past our company has passed out printed flags on cardstock for just that purpose. This year I decided to class mine up and bought a nice 12"x18" nylon flag. It's actually intended for the pleasure craft community. It's a nice flag with sewn stripes, embroidered stars, header and grommets.

I personally don't see any problem with putting a mini flag on a bulletin boards. Use your best judgement.
