    Default Fun projects.

I added an inexpensive light for the pole. The weather resistant fixture was $5 at Home Depot. It has a spike that sticks in the ground. The timer is set on the dusk-dawn setting.

This is a rack to hold 2x3, 3x5, and 12x18 inch flags. It is made of 2x2s. There are 1/4" dowels to hold the flags. I added 2 more dowels in the back in case the front gets full. The back only holds 2x3, since most of them are that size. I will get a clear plastic drop cloth thing(is that what they're called) to keep dust from getting on the flags. I don't like to fold them because it makes creases. And that doesn't look good when they're flying on the pole. And I am having the spearhead looking ornament I made powdercoated in a gold color-can't wait to see how it looks in gold.

That flag rack looks handy. When you collect flags, you have to figure out some way to store or display. That looks like way to store a lot of flags in not a lot of space, without creasing them.

    .
How "tall" is your flagpole (again) and how much does it weigh?

Hi David. Being able to store the flags without having to fold them is great. Robin, the pole is about 13.5' above ground. I don't know how much it weighs. But it's very light, it's made of 2 inch PVC pipe.
