I'm told this is "the great 44 star flag. I'm looking for more info as to age, aproximate time frame, and value for insurance purposes. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I hope the picture comes thru. Thanks.

Sorry, I couldn't get picture to post. I can e-mail pics to those interested. Thanks.
Hi there
Did you follow the instructions that are provided in the American Flag Pictures section?? it is the thread right at the top.
With your guidance I think I am able to post a picture or two. That being the case, any info that can be provided for approximate assessment of value for insurance purposes would be greatly appreciated. This flag has been in our family for generations. We just haven't figured out which individual it belonged to yet. Thanks.

Hi there.. well.. as far as the value of this flag goes, I have no clue of an exact figure, but if you were to sell that on eBay (I know you arent going to) I would think it would fetch at least $500 at the low end of the scale... a speciallist auction however I would say more
These types of star patterns are extremely popular.
This flag of yours looks home made aswell.. somebody who looks like they sewed around the edge of one star and thought.. Dang.. and I still have 43 more to sew...!! oK shortcut triangles, - here we come! lol
