We are a small community. We are trying to get flags to hang down our main st for the holidays in which it is appropriate for the flag to be flown. We would like to hang them on our telephone poles down the street, what would be the right height in which we should mount the brackets.

While there is no specific height to hang your community's flags on street poles, practicality should be your guide.

1. High enough to keep kids and others from yanking on them or removing them

2. High enough to keep trucks from snagging them or touching them (most full sized trucks are 13' 6"
