Colorado became the 38th State to join the Union when it was admitted to the Union on August 1st, 1876! Colorado's nickname is "The Centennial State"! Happy Birthday, Colorado!!!

[ Sorry that the Flags look like they're "backwards". It's because my house is on the south side of an east-west street and the wind is predominately from the west. ]

Hi Robin. Nice pics and flags. I don't have a CO flag yet. So I have the Jamaica flag up today-Emancipation Day over there. Sometimes I have to take my pics from the other side to get on the "sunny" side and the flags point to the left. But sometimes I'll "flip" the pic on Photoshop so it looks better. Like this-hope you don't mind. I also increased the contrast and color saturation. And the house numbers were backwards, so I removed them.

I don't have PhotoShop, so I just post 'em as they turn out! I can NOT tell you how "weird" it is to see our house the "wrong way around"!

Every once in a while we do get an "east" wind, but when we do it's usually a whole lot warmer (hotter)!

Anyway, Wild Bill, Thanx for the "alternate" view !!!
