Help attaching the finial

Hi,

We put up our flag pole beautifully but to our dismay we soon realized we forgot to attach the finial. Any tips on how to attach it without having to take the pole down or seriously injuring oneself?

Any thoughts appreciated!

Depending on where you live, you might contact your local Fire Dept. For a small donation, they might come out and install the finial on your flagpole. It's worth a try!!!

Ouch!!

Failing the fire dept idea - which is a very good one by the way- you could try companies which you know would possess a cherry picker.. This of course depends how tall this flagpole of yours is.
