| In the BSA Wood Badge Trianing program it was presented that some historical US Flags still get saluted. Please advise as to which flags and where this is documented. Thank you.

| Hello, ScoutPiper! some historical US Flags still get saluted. Please advise as to which flags and where this is documented. As far as I know, there is no formal rule or regulation that deals with this. However, it's customary to treat former versions of the US flag with the same respect as the current version. Common sense would say that this would include any flag that was at one time considered to be the national flag of the USA, but would not include unit colors and other subordinate flags. Peter Ansoff
