I need help identifying if this flag is authentic or has value
I am trying to see if this flag has any value. My girlfriend (who is currently 52 years old) got the flag from her grandparents ranch in Arizona. The ranch was homesteaded by her great grandparents. Having said that, I really don't know what the authenticity of this flag is. The dimensions are 17 inches by 23 inches. Any help, answers or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thank you. I have attached some pictures.

Re: I need help identifying if this flag is authentic or has value
Hello Arizona Jim. The zig zag stitching of the stars was first used about 1893 on flags made for the Columbian World's Exposition, so your flag would be no older than that. I would estimate it was made ca 1900 to 1930. By the G Washington BIcentennial in 1932 we mostly see the 13 stars in a circle, not the Naval pattern in your flag. A similar flag in perfect condition just sold on eBay for $430 so I would guess yours is worth $300 to $350.
