| Hello and welcome Unfortunately, unless there is something pretty unique about it, good luck pinning down an exact date. Flag makers aren't known for imprinting dates on their flags or packaging. Also, recall the 48 star flag was our flag for many years. For example, I bought a 48 star flag earlier this year, and the only thing printed on it is "Pioneer 3'x5" which doesn't help all that much unless you can narrow down what years Valley Forge used that brand name for their cotton flags. Oddly enough it came to me in an Annin box that is also in good shape. Very odd. My best suggestion is if the flag has an imprint on the header or a sewn on tag, get a photo of it and post here for the real experts to look at.

| Hi Tiffany, If you are really serious about dating the flag you could send it to a textile expert to do an analyst. Of course this could cost a bit more than the flag is worth.
