 Inverted stars? Hello forum. Is it against regulation to display a flag with upside down stars on it? I couldn't find anything in the code about it....maybe I missed it?

The presidential Executive Order that specifies the design of flags used by the government shows that the stars are supposed to have the points up. However, the actual law that defines the flag does not say anything about the orientation of the stars -- it doesn't even say that they must have 5 points. There is a recent discussion about this issue in the "Flag Etiquette" section of this forum -- it's called "Stars Upside Down on a Flag." See that one for more details. Peter Ansoff
