On July 4th, 2011 at 1:00 PM EST LiveAnthems is organizing a nationwide simultaneous singing of the Star Spangled Banner as an initiative to reinvigorate the American spirit, create unity and pride for America. This is the first time in history that Americans will attempt to sing the anthem together, in real-time across the country and the globe. Through a national broadcast (via internet, cable television and cellular technologies) Americans will harmonize and connect with their fellow countrymen.

As a way of promoting this event, we are currently searching for the Anthem Idol who lead the country in the singing the national anthem. We are welcoming any and all Americans to post their best rendition of the Star Spangled Banner on our Facebook page and fans, family and friends will "vote" by liking the video in the months leading up to national broadcast.
