    I live in Woodstock, IL and saw the flag at half mast in our town square today (7/18) and wondered why. I found this site and thought it would be a good way to learn that as well as know other proper flag protocols. Thanks.

    Honoring Illinois' Fallen
    United States and Illinois flags at half-staff from Sunrise, Saturday, July 18, 2009 until Sunset, Monday, July 20, 2009.

    United States Army
    Hometown: Ottawa, Illinois
