Default Looking for a unique flag

    Hi All,

I am trying to find an american flag thatI saw on a boat in NJ. The flag starts out as an american flag and then blends to a maltese cross. I was not able to find the boat owner to ask where he got it and I have called many flag stores and no one has any idea what I am talking about. If anyone has ever seen one or can direct me somewhere, I would be truly grateful. My husband is a proud american and a firefighter and I would just love to get this flag for him.

    Thank you
    Linda

I don't suppose you have a photo? Is the cross where the canton (the blue part) should be?

If I think of it I'll look in a couple flag cataloged I have, I seem to recall seeing a collection of nautical flags meant to signify rank or division

I sure wish I did have a photo! I had taken one when the boat was docked but it was sofar away the flag couldn't be seen. I can certainly try to describe it....imagine an american flag and about half way across, the red and white stripes begin to fade to white and a maltese cross begins.

Haven't found it yet, but you may want to peruse this website - it has several firefighter related flags:

    Firefighter Flags & House Flags

In lieu of finding the flag you describe, this might be a worthy substitute:
    Patriotic Fire Dept House Flag
