Mini Flags with labels attached

Hi folks.

This is my first post and I read through (and did a quick search) to see if this has been raised - couldn't find anything.

I work for a non-profit disability rights organization and we're getting ready to do a display in the near future. One of our ideas is to purchase multiple "mini flags" that are often used in parades, or placed at cemetaries, etc., and use them partially to raise the issue of Traumatic Brain Injury with our returning veterans.

We would want to attach a small label underneath the flag, wrapped around the staff, to identify our organization, possibly with a message regarding supporting veterans with TBI, etc. - the message would have to be worked out, but it would be rather small.

Anyway, is it "in bad taste" or against etiquette to add any attachments to the staff of such mini flags?

Any feedback or thoughts you have would be appreciated.

hey therre... no i dont see a problem with that at all...
therres nothing in the flag code to say you cant... its not rally 'advetising' mor of a support and for a worthy cause aswell.

Thanks for the feedback and the compliment on the ASCII art.

It looks like we'll move forward with this, though there seem to be some suppliers out there that can engrave the message directly on the stick that we'll be considering at a higher cost.

Either way, the feedback is very much appreciated.

no problem at all- engraving into the stick might be a nice idea to do but not too deep to weaken the stick makin it easier to break it.. labels would also stand out a bit more... but its yup to you!
