    Default Modern Patriotic Jewelry

Hi folks - My name is John; I'm new to this forum and have joined a few patriotic themed forums. Check out www.pledgering.com to see the patriotic themed jewelry I make and sell with a friend of mine. I've gotten good feedback on it so far. Made in the USA of course!!! Thanks

    Hello, DetroitIrish (John) !

Welcome to the USA-Flag-Site Forums !

I visited your new website (PledgeRing.com) and I had nothing but trouble when I got there. I would suggest that you ask the person that designed/built your website to re-do (or at least troubleshoot) the site's "coding".

When I visited the site it managed to "freeze up" BOTH of my web browsers. When they finally un-froze, I tried visiting the other pages on your site and everything froze up each time/page. It was a very long (+30 minutes) and very frustrating (think, really, really slow dial-up) "experience".

Just on the surface of it, it looks like each page is trying to load up two (or more) flash apps one on top of the other and it takes between 4 to 6 minutes for the "conflict" to be resolved.

I am NOT planning on going back there any time soon !

    Good Luck with it !

    Just My Opinion . . . . .

FWIW : The "Pledge Ring" and "Pledge Pendant" are good looking, moderately priced, pieces of sterling silver jewelry that use six (6) symbols to represent the last eleven words in the modified "Pledge of Allegiance": "one nation under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all”.

The SIX (6) symbols are, as near as I can tell are : STAR (five pointed star, or maybe a pentagram), CROSS (Christian), HEART (Valentine-ish shaped), TORCH (Statue of Liberty? - or perhaps a stylized DOVE?), SCALES (as in "Scales of Justice" or perhaps the astrological sign for LIBRA), and the EQUAL SIGN.

AS IN : One Nation (STAR) Under God (CROSS), Indivisible (HEART), With Liberty (TORCH) and Justice (SCALES) for All (EQUAL SIGN).

Or maybe : "Star Christians Love Burning Libras at the Stake"?

Perhaps : "Star-Crossed Lover Carrying a Torch for Judge Judy"???

Although, as near as I can tell, the "Pledge Ring and Pendant" seem to be marketed to all patriotic Americans, I think it would be much better suited to be marketed to the tiny minority of conservative Christians (and others) who believe that the United States of America is a "Christian Nation" for Christians only.

But then..... That's Just MY Opinion !!!
