Default Need a Little Help if Possible

    Hello,
My name is Jonathan, and I came across your site looking for information about a flag I have. I have both a Confederate flag that was flown over the South Carolina State Capitol building before it was orderd to be taken down. I have the paperwork to prove this, and I am needing to know how much it is worth if anything. I also have the South Carolina State Flag that flew over the capitol as well. Please help if you can. If you could send me an e-mail at docholiday68w@yahoo.com. Thanks in advance for all the help.

    Jonathan

    Hi Jonathan,
Was this the very last flag that flew or one that flew years before the decision to take it down? Ebay is going to be your best bet if you are in a hurry for some cash. But I would not expect too much, maybe a hundred dollars? To be honest with you the controversy surrounding that event does not really hold a lot of positive emotions even for patriotic Southerners such as myself. If you are the patient type I would hold on to it and give it to the grandkids and by then it will be worth much more as a historical item than what you will get for it now. But having said that it never amazes me how much people pay for worthless stuff on eBay. Good luck!
