Default Need Info on Old Annin Flag

I have an old American Flag I recently found in my grandmothers basement made by the company Annin. It is 5' x 8' and in the original box. The stars are all stitched on and the box also included a pamphlet with guidelines to displaying and cleaning the flag. The pamphlet has a copyright date of 1966. I have included a picture of the box and pamphlet, along with a closeup of the logo on the box and info printed on the side of the box. The flag is in excellent condition and I believe it was never displayed.

If anybody knows any information about the history or value of the flag it would be greatly appreciated.

    Hello Jesscjc2,
As with most "collectibles," an item that is still in production has little, if any, premium over a brand new item regardless of age. You can still buy 50-star USA flags of Annin Nyl-Glo. The list price of a 5x8 is just over $50.

The design of Annin's boxes has changed since then, and the design of box that you have was used until the early 1970's, but I don't know of anyone who collects antique flag boxes.
