Hello Rex, I did an aol search for your request (Bellamy flag salute photo) and found the following wikipedia link:

There are several 1950's era photographs on the page of school children giving extended arm salutes to the flag. I hope that helps. Let me know if it doesn't.

I am a seventh grade student and I am doing a history project on "The History of The American Flag". Does anyone have a list of names that are acceptable nicknames for our flag? ie OLD GLORY. Thanks
