GREETINGS !!!


Today, Sunday, May 15th, 2011, is "Peace Officers' Memorial Day". It is our Nation's day to commemorate the sacrifices of those Peace Officers who gave their lives in the line of duty to their communities. PLEASE JOIN ME by flying your Flags at HALF-STAFF to honor them!


United States Code Title 4 Chapter 1 — The Flag
(AKA : The "FLAG CODE")
§7. Position and manner of display
m. "...The flag shall be flown at half-staff on Peace Officers Memorial Day, unless that day is also Armed Forces Day."


I am flying three (3) Flags at "half-staff" out in front of my home today in observance of "Peace Officers' Memorial Day". The three are, from left-to-right, The U.S. Flag, the State of Oregon Flag, and the "Police Officers' Memorial" Flag.

Hi Robin. Nice display. I flew my flag half staff on Peace Officer's Memorial Day also, but didn't get any pics.
