Dear Forum members,

I think that it's time to close this thread. It was started by a comment from "Osama," one of a bunch of obnoxious people (youngsters, I suspect) who tried to disrupt the form. His/her comment was not immediately deleted, because nobody was moderating the forum at the time. When I became a moderator, I deleted almost all of the their posts, because they were childish garbage that contributed nothing to the forum. I let this particular one stand, because it had meanwhile elicited a couple of responses that I thought were of interest. In retrospect, this thread probably should have been closed or deleted back then.

At any rate "Osama" and his friends are no longer posting their garbage here, and if they do so it will be summarily deleted.

As always, please let me know if you have any concerns or comments about the content of the forum. Our goal is to have a non-partisan arena for discussions about the American flag, other flags, and related topics. People have strong opinions about these things, and that's fine -- comment and controversy are welcome here. Pointless vulgarity is not, however.
