Presidential Standards made for the White House

In the flag collecting thread the subject of an ebay auction came up that was offering "hand sewn flags." Well, they were not hand sewn flags, but they were machine embroidered individually. Here is an article from the DOD's Defense Link online magazine on the manufacture of these flags, both the hand stitched and the machine embroidered ones:
