Problems Accessing Site ???

Howdy !


I don't know about anybody else, BUT... I've been having a "dickens of a time" accessing this website for the past month or so. !!!

My troubles accessing the site started right about the time when the site was inundated with SPAM right around the time of the NAVA convention.

I have the site on my "favorites" list (Duh!), and it is in my "trusted" security zone, but (more often than not) AOL returns an "error" that it can't find the site. I think Internet Explorer is OK, though.


Anyway, since I've been having problems accessing this site I thought I'd ask if anybody else has had "accessing" problems too.

PS. When I tried to post this while on AOL a couple of minutes ago , I received the AOL can't-find-website "error" message. This was AFTER I was already on-site using AOL. WEIRD? You Betcha !!!

You are not alone. Quite a few members are having problems accessing the site, including yours truly. Apparently they made some DNS setting changes last month (coincidentally, around the time of the NAVA convention), and there were some weird side effects that are still not fixed. The worst part is that the problem is intermitant -- sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't.

I'm working with the site owner to get this straightened out and will keep everyone informed. As you've probably noticed, I have not been posting very much for the last month -- I'm trying to use the times I can get on to do spam cleanup and other maintenance.

This is very frustrating for me, and I know that it is for everyone else as well. All I can say right now is that I'm doing my best to get it fixed.

Thanx for the "heads up" on the issue!


I thought for quite awhile that it was probably "just me being on AOL". But after such a l-o-n-g time of having the "can't find website" error when using AOL, I was really starting to get ticked off about it.

I had "re-set" and "re-adjusted" just about every AOL-related thing I could think of (some of them more than once!), but to no avail. I was on the verge of UN-Installing, then RE-installing the AOL software, but decided to go ahead and ask about the problem here.

I'm glad I did !

I wish you luck in getting to the bottom of the "problem" and getting it "fixed" very, very soon!
