Re: Proper Flag Display for Service/Church
Hello, Usdi - welcome to the forum!
The plan is to unfurl a flag that will be presented to the church itself, behind our service members
I'm not exactly sure what you mean by this, especially the part about "behind our service members." Normally, the flag is displayed in front of the assembly. There's a military protocol for "posting the colors" which basically means that the flag-bearer enters at the rear of the rear of the meeting room, carries it up to the front, and "posts" it, by putting it on a stand. The process is then reversed at the end of the service or meeting. Is this what you have in mind?
