    Default Retiring Multiple American Flags

    Our Girl Scout troops are collecting American Flags for a ceremonial flag retirement. We have collected several cotton flags that are in need of retirement. We need to know if we can use the same fire for all of the flags, and if we can retire them all at once or if we need to do a seperate ceremony for each.

    My son's Boy Scout Troop hosts an annual flag retirement each year on Veteran's Day. I've chaired the last two (of thirteen total) and we've retired 8,258 flags (858 flags last weekend). You bet: Use one fire for multiple flags! --mark d.
