Robin Hickman / PO'd Newbie !!!
I was going to use this opportunity to introduce myself to you. I was going to tell you a little bit about myself. I was going to share with you my on-going relationship with the Flag of the United States of America. I was going to crack a few jokes. I was going to have a little fun and maybe even ask a serious question or two.
Actually, I did do all that. I don't know how to type and I spent well over an hour doing "all that".
And then this "web form" deleted it all. Everything.
Nothing but the blank page I started out with.
I am really, REALLY, surprised that I'm NOT writing this using all capital letters.
I was going to introduce myself to you, but now I'm not because I am W-A-Y too PO'd to do so.
I apologize for wasting your time. Sorry.

Hello, Robin!
Sorry that you had problems, but it looks like everything is working OK now. I hope that you'll decide to stick around and enjoy the forum!
Best regards,

Hello, Mr. Ansoff!
Pardon me for saying this, but... it looked like everything was working ok THEN, too.
I've been a member for about a month now. Kept meaning to introduce myself but I never had enough time.
Oh, well...

Re: Robin Hickman / PO'd Newbie !!!
Robin (and all!),
One possible reason for your problem might have been that the forum logs you off if it thinks that you've been inactive for a prolonged period of time. This sometimes happens while you are working on a post -- when you hit "submit reply" it makes you log on again. (Very irritating -- unfortunately it's apparently hard-wired into the software.) If this happens, don't panic. Do *not* log in using the little boxes at the top right of the screen -- if you do that your message goes away. Instead, scroll down to the middle of the page, where you'll find a big log-in box in the center. If you log back in using that one, it will take you back to your post and you can continue to work on it or post it.

Re: Robin Hickman / PO'd Newbie !!!
Or maybe I can be more "careful" which keys I hit...
Or maybe write the text out using a different program/application and the copy/Paste it here...
type like a saint and pray like a sinner?
I'll have to go see if I can find the alternative that you've suggested.
Thank you !
