Default Swift Flag Repair

Hello, my name is April and I am the owner for some 20 years now of Swift Flag Repair. My sister started the business in 1976 and trained me to repair flags. I also restore the older flags and love this business. I am a retired entertainer. I was a singer for years and now own my own business of keeping our flags cleaned and repaired. I can't think of anything else I would rather do. I love my country and am very proud of our beautiful flag. You can visit me on my web-site at swiftflag.com

Greetings, April -- welcome! Could you tell us a little more about your business, how it originated, etc? I'm intrigued, because flag repair is a rather unusual line of work!

Best,

Peter Ansoff

Peter,

My sister started the business in 1976 and trained me to repair flags. I started in 1986. She just repairs the flags for the state of Arizona. I repair all over the United States for large companies. About 5 years ago I started to restore the older flags. I do those myself and have a staff of professional sewers that have been trained to do the rest of them. I also run my office.
I have a machine that weaves and can do the flags that have been eaten by critters. I have done an NFL flag, a flag from the New York Port Authority and a flag from Southwest Airlines. I love this business and some of my customers have been with me for years. We repair Auto Dealerships, Land Management Co and Hotel Casinos. Virtually anyone that flies flags.

f you have any further questions, please reply and thank you, April
