| Today (18 June) is the anniversary of the Battle of Waterloo in 1815. This year, for the first time, we'll be displaying the flags of all three of the major participants, France, Prussia and the UK. The French and British flags were basically the same in 1815 as they are today, but Prussia was a bit of a problem. Fortunately, Patriotic Flags in Charleston is now selling Prussian flags. I'm not sure that their particular version is exactly right for 1815, but it's close enough! "Nothing except a battle lost can be half so melancholy as a battle won." -- attributed to the Duke of Wellington Peter Ansoff
